Physics freaks me out... I mean I'm completely fascinated by the stuff. It's the closest thing to magic we have going right now. The only problem is that we seem to be able to look at stuff and go, "AW! That's how that works!" but we can't do shit about it.
We know that matter is composed of millions of tiny little electronic bits stuck together by the "weak" and the "strong" forces (just like Popeye: weak before spinach, an ass kicking machine after spinach) of atoms. But so what? Have we figured out how to make those atoms come apart when we want to and walk thru walls? No. We know that things that move incredibly fast, faster than light, could go backwards in time, but can we actually do it? NO! Science points out all the neat things about LIFE THE UNIVERSE AND EVERYTHING and then tells us why we can't exploit them...
But, at least we have those Dick Tracy picture phone watches coming our way in soon, right? In the very near future.
Now we just need to work on those flying cars...
