No date on this page... I wonder how long ago this was. Apparently he and Amy were getting along well here... I wonder if the girl on the bridge was Amy...
And who is this guy writing to? He wrote "Later!" at the bottom of the page... Does he "talk" to his own journal or are these letters he's was writing to someone? "Dear Diary...???" I guess it's possible he's just writing notes to himself. Seems kinda... femme to me... Maybe it is a girl...
I search further down the stream for another page, but the night is coming on quickly. Just as I'm about to give up, mostly because I can't see, I spot one last page struggling over some rocks poking out of a shallow spot in the creek. I wade out into the stream and snag this last page from the water. It's so dark I have to pull out my lighter to read it.
